The Maxell 183800 is a LTO-1(Linear Tape Open) data tape cartridge. The Maxell 183800 LTO-1 has a capacity of 100 GB uncompressed and 200 GB compressed data. The Maxell 183800 LTO-1 has a data transfer rate of up to 20 MB/s (native) and 40 MB/s (compressed). The Maxell 183800 also features the ceramic coated metal particle tape technology that ensures up to 1,000,000 passes.The Maxell 183800 LTO tapes also feature the LTO-CM (Cartridge Memory) which allows storage of information about the files on the tape so that users can quickly access required files. These tapes are compatible with all LTO-1 drives. |
