(Advance Intelligent Tape) 8mm data tape cartridge by Sony. The Sony SDX2-36C
AIT-2
comprises of a 16KB memory chip. The Tape length of SDX2-36C is 170M and it
can store up to 36GB uncompressed and 72GB with compressed data. The Sony
AIT-2 SDX2-36C tape cartridge features both an MIC chipand a pure metal
magnetic layer designed for maximum capacity and longevity. The AIT-2
SDX2-36C tape cartridges feature MIC (Memory in Cassette) which is a built-in
flash memory chip that stores directory and operational information. |
